This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party websites, services or applications, even if they are accessible through our Services, nor does it apply to self-hosted instances of AnythingLLM. How We Use Your Data

AnythingLLM Cloud Registration

Upon registering for AnythingLLM cloud, we collect your name, email and organization to establish a contractual relationship enabling access to our platform. We utilize PostHog to enhance our product understanding and optimize user experience. Additionally, our Payment Provider - Stripe, collects further details, such as address and credit card information, to facilitate payment processing. You retain the option to delete your AnythingLLM cloud account.

Instance Access and Management

Our team may access your AnythingLLM hosted instance solely for the purposes of debugging, maintenance, and regular customer satisfaction services. This access is strictly limited to necessary operational functions and maintaining service quality.

Data Privacy and Sharing

We do not share, make visible, or disseminate any generated content, uploaded materials, or activity generated on your instance beyond anonymous telemetry data. Users have the option to disable telemetry collection through the application user interface.

Website Usage Information

With consent, we collect website usage data to enhance user experience and website performance. PostHog may be utilized for this purpose.

Third-Party Services

We utilize the following third-party services:

  • Stripe for payment processing
  • PostHog for analytics
  • Amazon Web Services for infrastructure

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored and processed using Amazon Web Services infrastructure. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk.

Deletion of Data

Upon cancellation of service, failure to pay, or manual termination, no information about your instance, use, or data is retained. The instance and its associated data is permanently deleted from our systems and cannot be recovered at the exact time of cancellation for any reason.
